BRIEF
Design literary magazine and promote lecture series through various mediums and channels. I created Expansions Magazine, which is a literary periodical featuring articles and essays on contemporary critical theory and philosophy. The magazine also hosts a lecture series featuring some of today’s philosophical luminaries to promote and foster philosophical discussion and debate.
SOLUTION
I sought to create an minimalist editorial design that reflected the magazine’s cultured aesthetic. The use of black and white imagery projects a serious tone and doesn’t distract from the actual essays and other copy.
